Learning Assistant

Hi, I’m Teela and I’ve worked as a Learning Assistant on and off in Manaia School for the last 17 years. During this time I have supported children (including my brother) who have various intellectual and physical challenges.

Outside of school I am a mother of three. My two younger children attend Manaia School and my eldest has recently started at high school.

Teela has a strong background in High Health Need Support and has the right level of kindness and patience to persevere when faced with the higher pressures that come with her position. We are so fortunate to have someone with Teela’s skill set on our team.
