Whanau Groups

Our whānau rōpu (groups) were set up to: 

• Encourage students to take on leadership roles.
• Encourage teamwork and fair play.
• Encourage a sense of belonging to a group.
• Encourage friendly competition amongst students.

Students take part in 'whānau challenges' throughout the year.  These challenges can range from swimming, netball rippa rugby, sing offs, or quiz competitions.  Points are rewarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.  The winning whānau group at the end of the year is awarded the 'Whānau Toa Trophy'
