My name is Nadine Meynell. I have been a Learning Assistant at Manaia School for quite a few years now and absolutely love my role here. I love seeing the children grow and find their spark!

I lived in Manaia for 16 years while raising our children with my husband before moving to Hawera in 2020. Both our children attended Manaia School and have very fond memories of their time here.

I was born and raised in Patea and Manaia reminds me a lot of my hometown which is why I think I love it so much!

Nadine’s skill set allows her to work in multiple roles throughout our school. She is primarily a Learning Assistant, but also has a Limited Authority to Teach (LAT) which means she is able to relieve in our senior school. Nadine supports our school library needs.
